SUSTAINABILITY

Kloop is committed to advocate for mindful and sustainable choices in dressing kids by making it convenient and inspiring for parents.

We believe that awareness and education go a long way in helping us understand how we can contribute. And we are committed to amplifying this message and sharing what we learn.

We are a small company and this is a start. As we grow, so will our impact.

OUR PACKAGING

There is so much love and attention to detail that goes into every order we pack for each little Klooper and we do this as kindly as we can to our environment. We avoid using plastic and opt for biodegradable, compostable and recycled materials as much as possible, when available.

We are very conscious that the best packaging is NO packaging at all. So although better solutions cost quite a bit more, we do them because this is part of our commitment to do business differently.

Our boxes and paper mailing envelopes are from FSC-certified and 100% recyclable or recycled paper.

Our beautiful shoes bags for Pre-loved shoes are from Öko-Tex Standard 100 certified cotton and are meant to be used and re-used.

Our paper packaging are from FSC-certified, Acid-free Paper and printed with Soy-based Inks.

Our shipping bags are COMPOSTABLE – they are plant-based and should be thrown with your food waste (where they will decompose and feed the soil!)

We ship our packages from Germany via DHL GoGreen – a climate-neutral shipping initiative.

eco-alliance-02

We are part of the NO ISSUE Eco Packaging Alliance – contributing to global reforestation. A tree is planted in an area of need for every packaging order that we place.

The Better Packaging Co. aims to develop the world’s most sustainable packaging solutions that consider the complete lifecycle impact of a product from raw material sourcing, right through to end-of-life disposal.

DHL GoGreen program’s main objective is to reduce and/or avoid emissions of greenhouse gases and local air pollutants. The aim is to reduce all logistics-related emissions to zero by 2050.
